Prize Fund: Open Section $1,000 b/o 35, 80% Guaranteed. Scholastic Section: Trophies to Top 5 in each category.

Where: Clarion Hotel - 3540 Rosedale Hwy, Bakersfield, CA 93308

Format:

Open - 4 round SS, G/60, Rounds at 10:00am - 1:00 - 3:30 - 6:00pm
Scholastic - 5 round SS, G/30, Rounds at 10:00am - 11:30 - 1:00 - 2:30 - 4:00pm

Registration: On-site from 9:00 - 9:30

Entry:

Open: $35 by 12/3, $45 onsite.
Scholastic: $20 by 12/3, $30 onsite.

$5 discount for Bakersfield Chess Club members.
GMs and IMs may enter free ($35 entry will be deducted from prize).

Prizes:

Open: 1st $350 (min. $300 Guaranteed!) 2nd $175 3rd $100, U2000 $150, U1800 $125, U1600/Unr $100.

Scholastic: Trophies will be awarded 1st-5th place in scholastic categories. Categories will be determined by number of entries.

One ½-pt bye ok any round with entry.
